[The Entrance of Heroes]

I really like it! Great variation and instrumentation. Personally I find it very difficult to write this sort of uplifting music. Any tips? :D Every time I try to write something that doesn't sound epic / sad it ends up being cheesy as hell...

I'd recommend trying to find something with a similar mood and trying to write something that has that kind of atmosphere. You may also wish to take notes on anything that is going on musically and/or do a transcription to note the orchestration, composition techniques, arrangement, etc.

Very nice work! Love the chord progression and the piano work. Damn I should start using pianos in my songs as well xD

I think it's great! Love the flute melody and the overall feeling of the song. I think the loud parts could be a bit more "huge" if you know what I mean. :) Great job!

Thanks! I do indeed know what you mean by "Huge". I'm still learning the dynamics of programming, orchestration, and so forth, plus I'm saving up to buy better virtual instruments so I can use better, more "epic" style sounds.
